Welcome to Beam & Ivy ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website www.beamandivy.co.uk and the purchase of any products from our online store. By placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms.

2. Business Details
This website is operated by Natalie Revitt, trading as Beam & Ivy.

3. Product Descriptions and Personalisation

  • We make every effort to display the colors, materials, and engraving finishes of our products as accurately as possible. However, because our items feature natural materials (such as wood and slate), variations in grain, color, and texture are normal and expected.

  • Customer Responsibility: You are entirely responsible for ensuring that all spelling, punctuation, dates, and uploaded text/logos provided for personalisation are completely accurate. We engrave exactly what you submit and cannot offer refunds or replacements for customer spelling errors.

4. Pricing and Payment

  • All prices are displayed and processed in British Pounds (GBP / £).

  • Delivery costs are calculated at checkout and are clearly displayed before you finalize your order.

  • We accept payments through secure third-party payment gateways via Wix. Payment must be received in full before we begin crafting your order.

5. Delivery and Shipping

  • As many of our items are custom-made to order, please allow [Insert estimated processing time, e.g., 3-5 working days] for production before shipment.

  • Estimated shipping delivery windows are provided at checkout. We are not liable for unexpected courier delays once the package has left our workshop.

6. Right to Cancel, Returns, and Refunds
Under the UK Consumer Contracts Regulations, your right to cancel an order depends on the type of product you have purchased:

  • For Personalised / Custom Goods: In accordance with UK law, goods made to your unique specifications or clearly personalised are strictly exempt from the standard 14-day right to cancel or return. We cannot accept returns, cancellations, or exchanges on personalized items unless the item arrives damaged or we made an error in the engraving text.

  • For Non-Personalised Goods: For standard, non-custom items, you have a legal right to change your mind and cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your items. You must notify us at hello@beamandivy.co.uk within this window. You must return the items safely at your own expense within 14 days of notifying us, and we will issue a full refund upon receipt of the undamaged goods.

  • Damaged or Faulty Items: If your order arrives damaged or with an error made by us, please email us at hello@beamandivy.co.uk within 7 days of delivery with photographic evidence. We will gladly arrange a free replacement or a full refund.

7. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including product designs, text, logos, graphics, and images, is the intellectual property of Beam & Ivy and is protected by UK copyright laws. You may not reproduce or use any of our content without explicit written permission.

8. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, Scotland, and Northern Ireland. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the UK courts.
